Basement Waterproofing & Crawl Space Encapsulation Services in Goshen, Ohio

A good amount of the air you breathe inside your home comes from the basement and crawl spaces. It’s important to keep your basement and crawl spaces dry. This is to avoid damage to your property’s foundation and to prevent health risks.

Water can seep into the cracks of your basement and get into your foundation. It can weaken the foundation. The soil around the foundation naturally moves and can cause structural damage if the foundation is weakened by prolonged water exposure.

Stagnant water and moisture in the basement can also encourage mold growth. Mold spores - a known allergen for some people - can then potentially multiply and spread around the house.

Healthy Basement Concepts provides professional basement waterproofing and crawl space repair services in Goshen, OH. Our founder, Jason Fry, started providing basement and crawl space drying services in 2004. We are now partnered with Grate Products, LLC, which means we now have the ability to provide our clients with the latest methods and technologies in maintaining a safe, clean, and dry basement for our customers.

  • Foundation Repair - The earth beneath a property’s foundation moves. Foundations are designed to withstand this kind of movement. However, if the foundation has become weak because of exposure to water, it will sustain damage. Healthy Basement Concepts provides foundation waterproofing and stabilization, and crawl space joist support.
  • Crawl Space Repair - If there’s a musty smell coming from your crawl spaces, don’t ignore it. It means dampness and moisture is starting to be a problem. This may lead to more expensive foundation damage. Call us today for more information about how we can help with keeping your crawl spaces dry.
  • Moisture Control - Moisture is always in the air in the form of humidity. In basements and crawl spaces, too much humidity can cause problems. It can encourage the growth of mold and increase the likelihood of foundation damage. Our dehumidifier system removes moisture from the air and directs it to the drainage system. To learn more about how this works, call Healthy Basement Concepts today.

The homeowner did not need push piers but needed support post put under the floor joist to support the load barring wall. She was very happy with the repair and that she did not get ripped off.

The crawl space had water leaking into it so we installed a footer drain system around the entire crawl space and ran it to two different sump systems with a battery backup.
